Luxury for less at this #dwelloctoberstudio church to condo revival

We're excited to shine a spotlight on the appliances used in our most recent #dwelloctoberstudio project, a church to condo revival in downtown Salem. When sourcing the appliances for this kitchen, we opted to order from Lowe's because they carry Forno, one of our favorite appliance brands.

Forno is a Canadian-based kitchen appliance brand known for offering professional-style, European-inspired appliances at budget-friendly prices. Named after the Italian word for "oven," these appliances provide kitchens a high-end look without the premium luxury price tag.
Our goal with this project was to create a chic, Parisian apartment-inspired design featuring moody colors and luxurious materials. Forno's stainless steel appliances worked perfectly with the rest of our design choices and gave the kitchen a modern, sleek feel reminiscent of a commercial kitchen. We love the details used in the appliances, including the analog clock on the range and the simple cylindrical handles on the microwave and refrigerator.
Because the kitchen is small, we opted for a panel-ready dishwasher, hiding the appliance behind a burgundy cabinet front and making the kitchen feel more cohesive and continuous.
We have always had great experiences ordering appliances through Lowe's. Their website is easy to shop for in stock appliances that ship quickly and the delivery process itself is always smooth.
We are so happy with these Forno appliances that serve as the anchors in this kitchen and look forward to sharing more details about the rest of the kitchen design.
